PassDrill (passdrill.store/) is an independent study site built around one simple belief: the written driving test is passable by anyone who practises the right way — answering real questions, understanding every mistake, and drilling weak topics until they become strengths. We built the tool we wished existed when we were learning: no accounts, no paywalls, no inflated claims, just a clean drill with an explanation after every single answer.
Who writes PassDrill
PassDrill is edited by Daniel Reyes, our editor and lead writer, working with a small team of contributing writers and reviewers. Daniel oversees every question in the practice bank and every guide on the blog. Each question is written originally for this site, checked against the rules published in official state driver handbooks, and reviewed whenever a state updates its guidance. Our blog guides are written in-house, in plain English, and are never copied, spun or scraped from other websites.
Our editorial standards
- Original questions only. Real exam questions are never published by licensing agencies, and we would not use them if they were. Our bank teaches rules and concepts, in our own words.
- Handbooks are the authority. Where a state-specific number matters, we say so and link to the official handbook rather than guessing.
- Honest limits. We say plainly what practice can and cannot do. No practice site can guarantee a pass, and we never claim otherwise.
- Corrections welcome. If you spot a rule that has changed in your state, tell us via the contact page and we will review and update promptly.
What PassDrill is not
PassDrill is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the DMV, any Department of Public Safety, or any government agency. We cannot book tests, issue permits, or access your licensing records. For official transactions, always use your state agency’s website — our state pages link to the official sources for California, Texas, New York and Florida.
